Finished Some New Projects in February
Finally finished the Pineapple afghan for my fiance. The edging for the pattern was a pain. Never could get it to come out correctly so after frogging it repeatedly I decided to adjust the stitches. Anyway, it's close enough to the pattern. I think it turned out well enough...
Also took some time out to crochet some Valentine related items, including a few doilies for my sister's birthday.
A few doilies for myself...
and my sister...
and a scarf for me!
In an effort to wittle down the massive amount of yarn I have, I went through my stash. Some of the yarn I can't even remember what projects I had planned for it when I originally bought it. But the ones I can remember, I'm going to try to complete them -if I can still find the patterns.
I did make a scrap afghan with a matching butterfly pillow from my stash of baby yarn. It worked up fairly quickly and used up almost all of my loose baby yarn. Yay!
And I started the blue sweater that I had bought a few skeins of Bernat a few years ago and never got around to making. Hopefully I'll finish it this weekend so I can wear it next week. If the weather cooporates.
